ABOUT NOURISHING LIVES WITH GRACE
Nourishing Lives With Grace (NLWG) is an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving communities in the Brazilian Amazon.
We work alongside local churches, Indigenous and community leaders, volunteers, and partner organizations to address both spiritual and practical needs.
Our work includes nutritional care for children and families, discipleship and evangelism, leadership development, community-based projects, and sustainable initiatives designed to strengthen communities from within.
We believe lasting transformation is strongest when local leaders and communities are equipped to carry the work forward. Rather than building ministry around outside teams, we strengthen trusted local relationships and pursue solutions that can continue long after a particular visit or project ends.

To partner with local churches and communities to bring wholistic, Christ-centered transformation to vulnerable communities in the Amazon and beyond. We meet spiritual and practical needs by equipping local leaders, strengthening families, and pursuing sustainable solutions that, with God’s grace, promote love, dignity, and stewardship.

Thriving communities in the Amazon and beyond, where children and families are healthy, local leaders are equipped, and lives are transformed by the grace of God.
WHERE WE SERVE
Our primary ministry focus is the Brazilian Amazon. We currently serve through relationships and projects in Manaus and in indigenous communities throughout Amazonas, including communities along the Andirá River among the Sateré-Mawé people and communities among the Mura people.

Local Partnership — We work alongside churches, community leaders, and local volunteers rather than building programs around outside teams.
Wholistic Care — We seek to care for spiritual, nutritional, physical, relational, and community needs together.
Sustainable Development — We pursue solutions that strengthen local capacity and reduce long-term dependence on outside support.
Gospel Ministry — Prayer, discipleship, evangelism, and the message of Jesus Christ are central to our work.
Dignity and Stewardship — We seek to serve every person with respect, transparency, responsibility, and wise stewardship of the resources entrusted to us.
WHO LEADS THIS WORK
Nourishing Lives With Grace is led by Daniel and Grace Russell, working alongside a U.S.-based Board of Directors and a growing network of local leaders and ministry partners in Brazil.
Daniel serves as Board Chair and Lead Pastor, while Grace serves as CEO, helping lead the organization’s ministry, programs, and field work in the Amazon. The Board provides governance, financial oversight, and organizational accountability, while local leaders and partners help shape and carry out the work within the communities we serve.
